- Click on "tracking inbox" at the top of the screen while in EVS. Follow the prompts and eventually click "save and submit" at the bottom of your application
- The Clinic will then find your application and attach notes
- The cost of this visit may vary. Please see TruHealth for more information on the cost.
- You can only do this AFTER you have met at TruHealth and they have submitted notes
- Usually this is a $15 fee
- The state will then review your application. This process usually takes about 24 hours or less on weekdays, but they do ask for up to 15 business days.
- You will get an email from the state stating that you are approved and your card is ready to print
- Go to EVS.Utah.gov, and navigate to your application. It is from your application that you will find a button that says “prince card“. Click on that, download the PDF.
- You can either print the card or take a screenshot of the PDF and keep it on your phone. You do not need a physical card to go to the dispensary

Renew Cannabis Card
It is best to start this process about 3-4 weeks before your card expires (no more than that, though). All you will have to do is click "save and submit application" at the bottom left of your EVS summary page (the page that has all of your personal information on it). In essence, the process as detailed for an initial application is the same for renewals. Click the button below for further instructions from the state. If you have any questions, feel free to contact TruHealth.
Under 21?
If you're under 21 years of age, the process is a bit more involved. This is because it can do a number of things to growing brains. One concerning side effect of the medication is that it can slow front lobe development. This is the part of the brain that does forward processing and planning. This part of the brain is slowest to develop and is often the reason for "car surfing" and instant gratification behaviors in teens.
You have to go through the compassionate use board. This process can take a bit more time. Be prepared to wait 3 months for an answer. Although none of this is certain, so long as you have good indications for cannabis, and minimal reasons that you should NOT be using it, then you still have a good chance of being approved by the state. The button below will bring you to the state website to walk you through the steps.
